I looked at a lot of bread boards from other sources, and they all were fairly plain or had bits of information printed on them in places that would not help me shape dough. This board is absolutely gorgeous, and the color bars are spaced at or near some pretty standard widths for rolled dough. They create a long edge that I can use for measuring and shaping rather than simply having a printed ruler along the edge of a board. It feels really solid and has been treated with food grade mineral oil, so it is ready for me to use as soon as I opened the box. The shipping container protected it really nicely, so there are not dents from the pounding it would have taken in transit. I feel pretty lucky to have found this site during my searching and am extremely pleased with the product and with the quality of service I received. I will be returning here to shop in the future.
