Wood Trivets for Hot Dishes

These trivets are designed to protect your countertop from hot pans and dishes.  They work great in the kitchen or in the dining room or wherever you need to serve hot dishes.  

Beautiful and Functional

We use the same beautiful varieties of wood as in our cutting boards and charcuterie boards, so they're a great addition to your collection. Beauty is nice, but these are also functional.  The rubber cutting board feet raise the trivet off of the table surface while the perpendicular groove cutouts on the top and bottom allow for airflow and heat dissipation.

They are 6 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches wide by 1 inch tall.  Combine multiple trivets side by side to handle larger casserole size dishes.

We finish these trivets by soaking them in a mineral oil bath for about an hour then we remove them and let dry.  Just simply apply a light coat of mineral oil periodically to maintain the natural luster in the wood.
